Seachem Matrix (250 ml-20 L) is a premium aquarium filtration media specially selected to help support high-porosity bio-media providing efficient biofiltration for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate control.

Matrix is a highly porous biomedia that provides both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria with over 700 square metres of surface area per litre. This allows the simultaneous removal of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate, making Matrix an efficient and long-lasting biological filter media. It is inert and does not break down.

Usage
Use 500 mL of Matrix for every 200 L of water. Place the media in a filter bag or media chamber with moderate water flow. Rinse prior to use. Matrix is suitable for canister, box, and sump filters and does not require replacement; simply rinse periodically to remove detritus.
